Rental Terms

Every rental price includes delivery, setup, styling and teardown within 20 miles of Lake Saint Louis. There are no setup fees and nothing is added at the end. Beyond 20 miles, delivery is $2 per mile each way. There is no order minimum.

Quotes are valid for 14 days from the date issued.

Items are rented for a 48-hour window unless your booking states otherwise. We schedule delivery and collection with you in advance and confirm both times before your event date.

A booking retainer of 50% of your total is due at signing and reserves your date and items. Your booking is confirmed only when the rental agreement is signed and the retainer is received — the date is not held before that. The balance is due no later than 7 days before your event date.

The retainer reserves your event date to the exclusion of other customers and funds procurement of your items. It is non-refundable. See our Cancellation & Refunds page.

You are responsible for the equipment from delivery until we collect it. That means keeping it in the condition it arrived in, keeping it out of the weather where it isn't rated for weather, and not moving or relocating any item we have set up. Do not attempt to repair, modify or disassemble anything.

Someone over 18 must be present at delivery and at collection.

You are responsible for confirming that we can reach the setup location, that the ground is reasonably level and clear, and that any permits or venue permissions are in place before your event. If we arrive and cannot set up for reasons on your end, the booking is treated as a same-day cancellation.

Normal wear is expected and not charged for. Damage beyond normal wear, and any item not returned, is charged at replacement cost. We will document and share photos of any damage before charging.

Some items — canopies, backdrop walls and lighting in particular — are not safe in high wind or storms. We reserve the right to postpone or cancel a setup for safety reasons, and we will work with you to reschedule. Safety calls are ours to make and are not negotiable on the day.

Equipment is used at your own risk. Canovi Event Rentals LLC is not liable for injury, property damage or loss arising from use, misuse or the presence of rented equipment on your property or at your venue, except where caused by our own negligence. Specific items carry their own safety rules, which we provide in writing before your event.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri.
